"September. The workshop returns to its rhythm. The looms have delivered the first bolts of cloth."
In the courtyard of the workshop, in the Mayenne, the rolls of Italian cashmere are unloaded with care. This material tolerates neither haste nor roughness. It is the artisans' back-to-school.
Those who were on leave returned to their stations. Their hands rediscover their marks on the machines. The scent of new fabric fills the workshop. Coulange 1918 prepares to dress the winter.
Back to School in Cashmere
This season, the Maison presents three signature pieces to face September with poise:
- B25 Cashmere Bomber — The direct heir of the RAF aviator jackets, reinvented in double-faced Italian cashmere. Nine hours of assembly for a garment that will span decades.
- Cashmere Jacket G12 — The one that weighs nothing and commands everything. Hand-combed Italian cashmere, straight cut, three buttons.
- Bomber C21 — The back-to-school bomber. Light enough for September, structured enough for the office.
Each piece is handcrafted in the Mayenne workshop. Materials are sourced with exacting standards: Italian cashmere, heavyweight serge cotton, genuine horn buttons.
