Three Generations of Jackets

Coulange produced three generations of jackets for the army, each meeting the rigorous demands of the military environment.

First Generation Coulange introduced sturdy khaki green jackets fitted with durable Eclair-brand zippers for heavy use. Their design included a detachable hood and a hidden drawcord at the hips for better weather protection.

Second Generation In this generation, the focus was on simplification and improvement. The jackets lost the drawcord, became lighter and gained a zip-in hood, making the garment more practical and comfortable.

Third Generation This latest generation stands out for its lightness and modern style. The jackets, now in navy blue, feature lighter and sturdier YKK zippers. Secure zip pockets, including a practical chest pocket, add to their functionality. The buttonholes disappear.

Today Coulange updates its deck jacket with the Heritage Parka in 3 colors: beige, blue and green.
