What does our warranty policy at Coulange consist of?
Coulange products are manufactured with exceptional craftsmanship and from premium materials to protect you in the most extreme weather conditions. We offer a lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for Coulange products purchased from authorized distributors. If a product presents a manufacturing defect, Coulange undertakes to repair it free of charge or replace it, at its discretion. If an identical product is not available, a product of equivalent value and similar style will be provided. Please note that all knitwear, shoes, accessories and collaborations are excluded from our warranty program unless otherwise noted.
However, our warranty does not cover repairs resulting from accidents, improper use, neglect or normal wear and tear of the product. We also do not cover items that have had interior labels removed. If the damage is not covered by the warranty, Coulange may offer to repair it at a reasonable cost. If necessary, we will discuss the repairs to be made with the customer before carrying out any repairs.

What does “product life” mean?
Coulange products, covered by the lifetime warranty, are fully guaranteed for their original owner for the useful life of the product. It's not about your lifespan, although some customers have used our products for over 30 or 40 years!
What does “normal wear and tear of the product” mean?
Although we manufacture all of our products to our superior standards, the condition of a garment used every day in the harshest conditions will deteriorate much more quickly than that of a product worn only once or twice a year. Over time, all products will eventually show signs of age and wear, such as fabric fading or frayed cuffs. We take this into account when evaluating your warranty claim, and it may be that your product has simply reached its end of life.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Tears and other damage are not covered by warranty, but your Coulange product can be repaired by our repair service at a reasonable cost. In the event of improper maintenance or neglect (product stored while wet, product stored in an airless environment, or failure to follow label care instructions), damage to the product is not covered by warranty.
